INSTRUCTIONS:

Your blind was made to be installed as either an inside or outside mount. Follow the instructions that apply to your blind.

Inside Mount Blinds
  1. Hold your blind inside the window frame in the desired location to confirm a proper fit. There should be about 1/4" or less on both sides to allow the slats to be raised and lowered freely.
  2. Place either the right or left bracket inside the window frame. If you are drilling pilot holes, mark these with a pencil.
  3. Screw the brackets to the frame, either on the sides or top.
  4. Slide the blind headrail into the brackets.
  5. Close the hinge to lock the headrail in place.
  6. If you have a tilt wand, attach it to the hook now.
  7. Snap the valance into the valance clips by putting the top edge in first.

Outside Mount Blinds
  1. Start by holding the blind against the window casing or wall in the desired position. Use a level to ensure the blind is level.
  2. Mark with a pencil at both ends of headrail so you know where to mount the installation brackets.
  3. Mount the left and right hand brackets about 1/8" wider than the pencil marks so when the blind is set into the brackets it fits with a little room on each side. NOTE: If you measured properly the bottom edge of bracket should be lined up with top edge of the window casing. When blind is lowered it should be hanging about 2" below bottom of the window.
  4. Slide the blind headrail into the brackets.
  5. Close the hinge to lock the headrail in place.
  6. If you have a tilt wand, attach it to the hook now.
  7. Snap the valance into the valance clips by putting the top edge in first.
