Order Policies (You will be asked to agree to these prior to placing an order)

  • Website Errors

    In the event content on the Website contains incorrect information, or a product is listed at an incorrect price, due to typographical errors or error in pricing information, or checkout system, WindowBlinds.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed or sold at the incorrect price. WindowBlinds.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, WindowBlinds.com shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

  • Shipping Charges

    WindowBlinds.com ships only to the continental 48 United States. We DO NOT ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or International addresses, this includes Canada. If you place an order to an international address, we will send you an email stating that your card was not charged, and that your order was not processed.

    Due to shipping restraints and manufacturer warranties, WindowBlinds.com does not sell or ship blinds over 107 inches.

    Orders are submitted to the factory in as little as 1 hour after they are placed over the website and begin fabrication in as little as 12 hours. Most blinds are fabricated within 5 business days, and require an additional 3-5 days to arrive to you.

  • Damaged Blinds Upon Arrival

    When you receive your blinds inspect each box carefully and note any immediately observed damage to the driver. If items are damaged do not discard boxes!

    If your blinds arrive damaged or in nonworking condition, contact us immediately. All damaged freight claims must be reported to WindowBlinds.com Customer Service within 10 days of the original delivery date.

  • Order Errors, Order Changes & Cancellations

    All WindowBlinds.com products are custom-made to your specifications of size, color, material, and options. None of our products are “off the shelf”, and are not suitable for resale. Because of this, it is important that you are sure of your purchase decisions (color, mount style, measurements, options, etc.) before you finalize your order.

    If you realize that you made an error in your order, contact us immediately. We will try to contact the manufacturer to correct your order before fabrication begins, but this is not guaranteed. Fabrication can begin in as little as 12 hours after you place your order.

    Under no circumstance will WindowBlinds.com refund any money or issue any credits for a credit card purchase if the cancellation or change occurs after your order has begun fabrication – this can be in as little as 12 hours after your order has been placed online.

    We place your order with the manufacturer and automatically charge your credit card for the total sale price, including shipping (if applicable), immediately after you submit your order. If we need to collect more information from you, there may be a delay in placing your order.

    WindowBlinds.com reserves the right to reject any order, at its discretion.

  • Returns and Refunds

    All WindowBlinds.com products are custom-made to your specifications of size, color, material, and options. None of our products are “off the shelf”, and are not suitable for resale. For this reason most orders are non returnable or refundable. If you realize that you made an error in your order, contact us immediately. We will try to contact the manufacturer to correct your order before fabrication begins, but this is not guaranteed. Fabrication can begin in as little as 12 hours after you place your order.

    Our website provides detailed and simple to follow instructions and advice in an effort to assist our customers in ordering the correct product with correct specifications, including measurements, color and materials, and options and upgrades. In addition, our customer service is available to help with any questions before, during, or after your order.

    Color Sample

    Every computer monitor will display color samples differently. If exact color is important to you, we offer free and unlimited samples in the mail so that you can see and feel exactly what you will be ordering. Because every order is custom made, blinds and shades may not be returned due to ordering the wrong color.

    Ordering free samples is easy, and they typically arrive in 3-5 days.

    1. Go to the product page containing the color options.
    2. Click on ORDER SAMPLE under the color picture.
    3. Proceed to the shopping cart and CHECK OUT.

    Color disclaimer

    Due to the variances in the wood’s natural color, grain, etc. each dye lot will vary for any of the stained wood products. These variances are minimal, but there is no way to assure the exact color of stained wood blinds. If you are ordering multiple blinds we strongly recommend that you order all of them at the same time to ensure they come from the same dye lot and will match one another. Sample colors may also vary slightly as our samples may come from different dye lots than the blinds you receive.

  • Over Sized Blinds

    The manufacturer’s warranty will be void on oversized blinds unless ordered as 2 or 3 blinds on the headrail. This will incur an additional charge. This is due to the weight constraints of the headrail. The website will notify you on both the product page, and on the customize page if your size selection is considered by the manufacturer to be oversized. You may still place your order as 1 blind on the headrail, but the warranty will be void.

  • Sales Tax

    WindowBlinds.com is based California. We collect 7.75% sales tax on all orders shipped to California addresses. Orders to all other states will not be charged a sales tax unless such taxes are imposed on Internet sales by law.
